Last night was played Day 4 of the 2016 WSOP $10,000 Main Event Championship at the Rio in Las Vegas

The chip leader after Day 4 is the American pro Bryan Piccioli, who finished the day with 4,026,000 chips. Right behind him are Daniel Colman (3,711,000), James “Andy McLEOD” Obst (3,003,000), Jared Bleznick (2,568,000) and Tom Marchese (2,108,000).

Women are also doing well in the event. Melanie Weisner is in top 10 with 3,078,000. Still in play are also the well-known female pros Gaelle Baumann (1,724,000), Jennifer Shahade (976,000) and Maria Ho (671,000). The last time when a woman made it to the main event final table was in 1995 when Barbara Enright finished in 5th place.

Among the poker pros who hit the rail yesterday include Andrew “LuckyChewy” Lichtenberger (499th – $22,648), Antonio Esfandiari (449th – $25,235), Alexander “joiso” Kostritsyn (399th – $28,356) and Steve O’Dwyer (261st – $36,708).

Today a total of 243 players will come back to Rio to give the best of themselves. Everyone has now guaranteed at least $36,708.
