If you’ve been following along at what’s been happening at US-facing Americas Cardroom, you know all about their Venom tournaments. The first was this past summer and guaranteed $5 Million, finishing with a $6,382,500 prize pool.

So when the $6 Million Venom tourney was announced, it had a lot to live up to. And now that it has concluded, we can report that it was a big success as well.

The final prize pool was $6,740,000 and ‘galodoido13’ is now counting all that money as an instant millionaire after pocketing $1,039,982 for first place. Remember, the winner was guaranteed $1 Million.

The $6 Million Venom lasted exactly two weeks, starting the day before Thanksgiving and having the final table on December 11th. There were four Day 1 options to choose from, giving great flexibility for all players who have a busy schedule.

The Venom buy-in was $2,650 but that didn’t dissuade players, many of whom won their seat for a fraction of the cost via Satellites, Step Tournaments, Skip Tournaments and the brand-new Cyclones.
